Anecdotal

(2016)

This work documents the process of an orchid plant dying, representing the juxtaposition of nature’s self-mutilation for self-defence – allowing one plant to die to let another grow compared to David Fathi’s concept of the human race using manmade nuclear bombs in self-defence but self-mutilating instead to protect themselves against the unknown. It represents the idea that most of the things around every one of us has the potential to last longer than we will.
